Dear
Friends, this is our cat. Her name is Penelope and she is ten years
old. Her favorite hobbies are helping me sew, guarding her catnip, sitting
under the hummingbird feeder, and napping. Penelope came to us at six weeks.
She was born a feral cat. Her mother was hit by a car and Penelope was the
only kitten of her litter to survive. Because she was orphaned so young,
we're not sure she knows she's a cat -- she thinks she's one of us.
Penelope has an opinion about everything and she always has to have the
last word. She carries on conversations better than a lot of humans. She
is pretty sure that we are here to serve her and make her happy --
actually, she's probably right.
Penelope is a long-hair white kitty, which means all my sewing projects
have extra white "decoration" included!
