My
name is Lilo and I am a princess. My mommy and daddy rescued me and
my brother, Stitch, from a shelter after someone found us in a paper bag
on the side of the road. (We thought it was a good place to sleep).
Since then, life has been good. We've moved around a little, but I love
our home now. Mommy and daddy don't let me outside (for some reason
they seem to think I might get myself into some kind of trouble out
there). But, there are lots of windows for me to look out and I love
that. I still try to get out every time the door is open, but mommy and
daddy are too quick for me. My favorite time of day is what mommy and
daddy call suppertime. That's when they give me and my brother food
from a can. It is so much tastier than the food that comes in a bag.
Though, I like that too. One of my favorite places to sleep is on
mommy's lap. I think it makes her happy when I lay there and purr and
let her pet me. That's why I do it, of course.
Yes, I live the good life. Daddy thinks I'm spoiled, but me and mommy
know that I am just being treated the way any princess should be
treated.
