This
is my Sasha baby. She is so sweet. I love when she runs in the
room when we come home and when she sees us her tail goes straight up in
the air. This picture is of her on her favorite playmat. She will run
at it and somehow end up underneath and will zoom around the room under
the mat. She also does this with any type of paper on the floor. It's
hard to tell from the picture, but she has the most beautiful blue eyes.
Sasha is particular about her petting, she really likes to have her head
and tummy scratched but not the rest of her body. During the night she
will climb under the covers with me, but I have to have my knees raised
so she can sleep under there like a tent, if I lower my knees, or try to
sleep on my side, she pushes her head between my legs so I have to put a
leg up. She then squeaks to be petted, not a very easy position to pet
from. All three of our cats practically live on our screened
lanai and spend most of their days lounging in the Florida sun. They
walk the perimeter of the lanai all night to keep an eye out for any
intruders (cats in the neighborhood) on their property. Since all three
of our cats have fallen in the pool at one time, about which they were
not happy, they try to keep their distance and stay as close to the
screen as possible.
Sasha can always put a smile on our face. She chases our big boy Monty,
a Norwegian Forest cat, all over the house even though he is twice her
size, he loves it. I'm so glad we have Sasha in our life, as life
wouldn't be the same without her.
