This
is Keatie, she is a mixed breed cat. We called her Keatie because
my daughter could never pronounce her name right, so instead of Kitty
she became Keatie. She hates to live on the ground floor of the house,
she only wants to live upstairs, and when she does want to go out to the
garden, she simply jumps off the balcony and slides down the tree
closest to the balcony. She cannot understand why people need to use
staircases!! She loves her food, but will not eat as she is given her
food. She prefers to act as though she is not so hungry, so, when she
sees her plate she pretends to be looking for some insect or rat behind
a door, or under the carpet, and it is only when we say eat Keatie that
she starts to eat. She is also quite unfriendly towards people outside
of the family. She loves to get on the beds and purrs like an engine
when she is on anyone's bed.
