When
Feisty and her brother, Jack, came into my home I figured I was just
giving them a loving home. What I hadn't counted on was how quickly the
little fluffy bundle of energy would wrap me around her paw. From the very
first day she knew what to do that would please me and what wouldn't. I
only had to show her the litter box once and she's never had an accident
outside of it. Naming her was easy.
She has this tough attitude that makes you think she doesn't need anyone,
but really she is soft hearted and very affectionate, once you get past
her kitten aggressiveness. She made it known to my two dogs that she would
give as good as she got, so when my big male, Bear, playfully batted her
half way across the kitchen the second day in our house she recovered
quickly, sprinted back and jumped on his head. They've been best friends
ever since.
One of Feisty's favorite things to do is lay in the plants. She's not
supposed to. Yet, I couldn't help snapping this picture, she looked so
darn cute. She has brightened my world in ways I hadn't known were
possible. She loves to dance with me and be carried around like a child
and it fills my heart with the happiness that the simple things in life
can bring. I had thought my life was complete with two dogs, but adding
two kittens has not only completed it, but has given me a feeling of
usefulness and a smile every morning. I love my Feisty cat and all that
she gives me.
