Our
cat's name is Samantha Jane, but we just call her Sami for short.
Sami became very special in my life when my beloved Furry Cat died of
cancer at the age of ten. I was grieving his loss so profoundly that I
couldn't get out of bed and Sami laid by my side all that day, and since
then she's been my constant companion and my angel cat.
Sami's also very special because her birthday is our national holiday,
Canada Day, July 1. Her favorite pastime is chasing around her
"sister" Molly whilst demonstrating their wrestling skills. She also
enjoys carrying around twist ties and golf tees in her mouth and leaving
these "treasures" at our bedroom door. Her favourite time of day is
suppertime when she sits in front of our pantry door and stares at us
until we give her treats. That's our girl!
