Cocotte, the Cat of the Day
Name: Cocotte
Age: One year old
Gender: Female
Kind: Tabby
Home: Dorval, Québec, Canada

My friend had to give her and all her sisters away, so when I saw her bump out from under the bed, I literally screamed: "Oh! I need that cat!!!" and every time I saw that guy I kept on telling him: "Remember! The kitty with the white paws!! It's mine!". And so my wish was granted. I brought her back home in my jacket. She was so tiny and still is... and will be for a long time! So Cocotte and I developed this very tight friendship. Honestly, we play hide and seek at times... She talks to me and I talk back to her, we can actually chit-chat for a good fifteen minutes like this. At night, after taking a bit of fresh air from my window, she jumps on my pillow and finds her way under the blankets to come sleep and purr on my belly.

I recently moved back to my mom's, where a big husky lives as well and surprisingly, Cocotte has control. She actually attacks him, bites his paws and provokes him (all this in the friendliest way, of course). She has such a playful personality and great abilities to hunt as well (she won't let go of any bug without killing and eating it. When I do the dishes, she jumps on my back and sleeps there (which gives me huge backaches, but it's worth it!). And at other times she climbs on me, she once went all the way up onto my head.

So to sum up Cocotte: she's a cute little furball, catching everyone's attention and love, and who enjoys purring, playing and fighting. Small, tiny even, but has a big character and a lot to surprise us. I trained her to attack, so watch out. Seriously, she's the greatest thing that happened to me, and she was always there for me during bad times. No words could explain how special and important this kitty is to me for many many reasons!
