Skylar
is an eight-week-old female blue point/torti Himalayan kitten.
Skylar is filling a major void in my heart. A little over two years ago
I lost my seven-month-old seal point Himalayan to a birth defect that I
didn't even know he had. One day he was fine and the next he was gone.
It took me awhile to deal with his loss but when I saw the ad for her on
petfinder.com a
couple of weeks ago, I knew I was ready for a new Himi.
I have had Skylar for about two weeks and she is such a little comedian!
We have four other cats and two little dogs and she is not scared of any
of them in the least. In fact, earlier today she pounced on my eighteen pound
maine coon/norwegian forest cat mix! Luckily he is very laid back and
just kinda looked at her like, "what are you doing?" She absolutely
loves my four year old seal point siamese and basically had adopted her
as her surrogate mommy. In the past couple of days I have caught her
trying to nurse from her... even though she was fixed over two years ago
when I got her! It's cute to watch.
She is such a beautiful kitten and I can't wait to see the beautiful cat
that she soon will blossom into.
