Dave
entered our lives three years ago. He was a rescue kitten from the
RSPCA, shortly after we got him he lost a leg in a road traffic accident
and he also lost his hearing after another brush with death from cat
flu. Despite this he is the friendliest, best-natured cat we have ever
had. He likes all food except cat food and specializes in dried fruit
and curry.
Dave is extremely affectionate and laid back and loves to sit on
peoples' knees. He is extremely nosey and loves to investigate empty
boxes. This year he got in trouble as he decided that he would unwrap
some of our christmas presents early! His favorite game is to go for a
ride in our rotating cupboard. He also likes watching golf on the telly
and sitting on my lap watching the pointer on the computer screen as I
work. Dave has exotic culinary tastes which include mexican food, salad,
dried fruit, pasta, pesto and chinese. Underlying this is his big
passion for all things chicken. Dave despises cat food.
Out and about, Dave likes to take in the fresh air and loves nothing
better than sun bathing whilst lying in long grass watching the birds
fly past. Dave also loves digging holes. His favorite spot in the
garden is in the grass collector of our lawnmower. After a long day Dave
loves nothing better than to relax in an empty bath and watch his own
reflection in the taps (faucet). He loves to sleep under the covers in
bed at night but his noisy purring and tendency to stretch out sideways
across the bed makes this a weekend-only treat.
