Hello
all, my name is Laces. I share my home with my mom, she's the
best, and she saved me from a terrible existence. I've been with her
for over four years now but I still have memories of my prior life. I
was born on a goat farm with many other cats and kittens around, I had
to fight for food and a place to sleep. When a friend of my mom
delivered me to my new home, I was in bad shape. I had a wound on my
neck, an infection in my toe, ear mites, worms, bot fly eggs in my fur,
and a cold. Also I was severely underweight! My wonderful mom nursed
me back to health, it took months for all my problems to go away but
finally they did. Now I'm very healthy and very happy as you can see by
this photo of me. (Not mentioning that I am now a bit overweight!)
My mom spoils me with all kinds of toys and all the catnip I could ever
want. She also gave me a giant scratching post that I can climb. I
have a warm bed to sleep in and lots of windows to watch the birds. I
believe I have a perfect existence for a cat!
