This
is Julie! We recently adopted her from a rescue organization. She
had been found as a stray in a small town near here. She loves to play.
Her favorite playthings happen to be elastic ponytail holders. She will
bat and flip them around for hours on end. She also takes great
pleasure in chasing after our eleven-year-old Bichon Buddy's tail and she
will stalk him from the sofa and paw at the 'poof' on top of his head as
he walks by. Being a good sport, he takes it all in stride. She loves
to sit by the window and chatter her teeth at the squirrels and birds outside.
Julie is strictly and indoor kitty, but I think if she were
outside, she would be quite the hunter. She even thinks it is fun to
try and catch the mouse when I am on the computer. When Julie is ready
to snuggle she will curl up under my chin or in my son's lap and purr
loudly. She has a tiny little squeak of a meow, but can get quite vocal
when she takes a notion to be heard. In the short time we have had
Julie she has completely stolen my heart. Even my son, who thought he
did not like cats has a huge soft spot for her. I'm sure she will
even win over the dog one of these days. She's my baby!
