Aurora
was born into our family on Mother's Day in 2003. She gets her
name after the night sky (aurora borealis) and from the princess in
Sleeping Beauty. She is jet black, except for a few grey hairs that
lightly speckle her coat. She live indoors and thinks she owns the
place. She is extremely lovable. She gives kisses, hugs and talks to
you.
Aurora loves to lay on your lap while watching tv or lay beside you in
bed. She enjoys catching stray moths that enter the house at night and
play with her toys, which are all over the house. She greets me when I
enter the house, and if I don't pick her up and carry her around, she
gets offended.
Aurora does not act like a typical cat, she acts more like a child. She
lets us know she needs more water by sticking her head in my cup. She
talks to us when we ask her questions. She takes a bath in the
bathtub ... it is her favorite stop to clean herself because that is where
she sees her human daddy take a bath. Aurora also will not let me
complete my homework unless I have paid significant amount of attention
to her ... she will lay across my books until I stop. She is extremely
spoiled and knows it. She also enjoys playing with her doggy brother and
sister when they come inside. She is a major part of our lives and we
would be devastated without her.
