This
is Barney, he's the shy, handsome guy in our home, which he shares
with two people, two dogs, and another cat. Barney is a cautious kitty,
who demands lots of affection and attention, but only once he knows the
coast is clear. He's good buddies with our other cat, Moe, and the two
of them spend many hours cuddling, wrestling, keeping tabs on the brash
squirrels that live in our yard, and managing the dogs.
Barney has one special talent - he likes to make sure the newspaper
doesn't fly away while we're trying to read it, and he makes himself
quite an effective anchor to fulfill that responsibility. We adopted
Barney from our local animal shelter four years ago and he's been a
loving and entertaining part of the family ever since.
