Heather
is a rescue cat and spent the first eight years of her life in a
facility which was breeding kittens for animal experimentation. She is
named after the leader of the campaign who managed to get the facility
closed down. 800 cats needed to be re-homed and Heather was one of the
longest surviving cats partly due to her wonderfully soft yet determined nature.
Now that she is in a happy home, it shows. She is very loving and adores
having her belly rubbed. Heather can be quite naughty when she wants to
be, jumping on my pillow and patting my forehead to wake me at 4am! Her
favorite toy is a red Christmas bauble ... she loves having it rolled
towards her so she can bat it straight back!
