This
is my special girl, Fran. I adopted her shortly after moving to
Seattle, in September of 2000. Fran's a pretty shy and nervous cat, but
she always loosens up around me and shows me plenty of affection.
She absolutely loves to be brushed and loves her catnip fixes. When
she's in a playful mood, she loves to hide and play under newspaper or
blanket "tents" that I make for her. She also enjoys a treat of cheese
or sour cream every now and then.
Every night she "chirps" at my bedside until I pat the bed to let her
know it's ok to jump up and visit. She usually snuggles with me for only
a few minutes, then jumps back down to spend the rest of the night on
her chair in the living room. She is a very sweet girl and a good friend
to have around. I love her very much.
