Sheesh
came to live with me when he was four months
old - a stray who was living up in the mountains of Wales. Since then
he has become a true family cat. My parents looked after him for several
years and he lived on a canal boat with them and their two dogs. He has
always ruled the roost where ever he has been. Having fallen in the
canal only a couple of times he soon became ships mate.
Sheesh now lives with me again, and this time in Brighton. He's a
little less active these days and spends his time snoozing or looking
out the window to ensure everything is in order. He has the loudest
purr I have ever heard and I am often woken in the night by him lying
next to me and hoping that purring will make me get up and fill his food
bowl - sometimes it does!
Sheesh has always been independent and knows his own mind. He has only
savaged a few people this year.
Life would not be the same without Sheesh the cat.
