I
adopted Precious from the Hawaiian Humane Society when she was two months
old. My friends and I just went to "look" and "kill time" during lunch, and
then I saw her. She was the cutest "baby" over there. I couldn't resist
her, so I put her on hold because I had to go back to work.
When it was time to pick her up, I was told that if I didn't come to get
her by the time they told me to, I would've lost her to someone else.
There were three other families waiting to see if they could take her home!
She was the "star" of the day, they had just put her out that day and
she was adopted that day! The workers at the Humane Society wanted to
know why there were so many people who wanted her and they just had to
take a look. They melted at the sight of her, they said she was so
beautiful (that's how I felt about her too)!
She is now three years old and I still think she is the most beautiful
and special kitty that I've ever seen! She likes to sun herself in her
basket and hang out with me while I watch TV in my bedroom. I always tell
her that I love her (I know that she can understand me) and I'm always
kissing her because she is so irresistible! She is my friend, and that's
even more important than anything else.
