Brighna
(BREE-na) is so special to me because she started a new chapter
in my life with me. Her name is a Gaelic variation on Bridget, as in
Saint Bridget, the patron saint of scholars. I felt this was
appropriate since I had just finished my Master's degree and I was now
going to be educated in the ways of the cat.
She is head strong, curious and vivacious. Brighna starts the day with
lots of cuddles and kisses and then it's off to see what new trouble she
can stir up for the day. From napping at my feet to literally bouncing
off the walls, she has a full range of moves and surprises. I like to
believe that we complement each other, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
