This
is "Boo Kitty". He is very special to me. He weighs 12.5 pounds
and has big gold eyes. I say special because he was an orphaned kitty,
we found him when he was barely a week old (on Halloween, hence the name
"Boo Kitty") in our back yard, huddled up against our house behind the
flowers and bushes. He was meowing very loudly. So loud that we heard
him in our house with the windows closed !! When I brought him in the
house, my husband couldn't believe his eyes !! He told me not to get
too attached because he didn't think the little baby would make it !!
He was so tiny. His eyes were just barely open and his ears weren't
standing up nor was his tail and he was under a pound in weight. He
still had the scab on his belly from his umbilical cord.
I quickly became his new mom. I bought kitten milk replacement and a
bottle to feed Boo. I did all the things that a kitty mom would do,
rubbed his little belly with a warm wet cotton ball to stimulate his
elimination, and burped him when he finished his bottle!!
He went from under a pound in weight and so scrawny when we found him,
to a handsome sleek 12.5 pounds!! He is such an affectionate cat. He
has two Pomeranian sisters to play with too, and they also helped to
raise him. Licking him all the time and snuggling with him. They have
their moments like all siblings do, when they compete for our attention!
I give Boo so much love and affection and he in turn has brought
me so much joy and he loves me too! He runs to the door when I come
in and he hears my voice. He even gives me "kitty kisses"! He's my
kitty angel!
