Hi,
my name is Coco (actually it's Tourmaline Tamara, but I don't like
to brag) and I'm a registered Burmese female. I'm three years old and
perfectly beautiful. I'm a gorgeous seal color with red highlights when
I sit in the sun. I was born in New Zealand and moved to Hong Kong with
my family when I was very small. My current human adopted me when my
original family went home and didn't want me to go through six months of
quarantine back in New Zealand. I didn't like the sound of that, so I'm
happy to be in Hong Kong. I live on the Peak where there are lots of
birds to watch through the windows and the occasional gecko to catch in
the house. I don't go outside because there are lots of dogs and snakes about.
My human is just crazy about me! She calls me Coco Puff and Puffer and
all kinds of silly names. I sleep under the covers with her and get lots
of cuddles. In the morning, I lick her nose and head-butt her when I
want my breakfast. I share the house with two Siamese boys (Tashi and
Karma) who aren't very friendly with me (they're much older), so I like
to stalk them and tease them every chance I get. I only drink water from
the tap and have my own special toys, including a laser light. I
recently appeared in a book about Hong Kong cats called Travellers'
Tails (you can see it at Moggit.com),
so I'm fairly famous. All in all, I think I have a very nice life.
