This
is Baby. I got her when she was eight weeks old. Last November she
was diagnosed with Glaucoma. After several attempts to prevent it from
progressing, it was inevitable and I had to make the choice to remove
her eye for her comfort and well being. She has made the adjustment
well. She flies through the house able to avoid any object placed in her
path. Peeking around corners would be her downfall, for her whole head
appears before her remaining eye appears. It is cute more than it is
sad. Now we only need to work on her weight. Thanks to
Fatima, the cat
from New York, a former Cat of the Day, I am now looking into thyroid
problems involving felines. My little calico 'Baby' has been with me
through thick and thin. I love her dearly and there is no possibility of
her ever being replaced!!! Though at times I think she would like to
replace me for winning the affection of two felines, who came down a
long line of out of control feral cats. With a lot of work on both of
our parts, me and my 'Baby' seem to have them under control for the most part.
