Jackson
is a very loving and beautiful Russian Blue mix that my husband
and I adopted from the humane shelter. His former name was Postage. That
is because the woman who brought him into the shelter found him in the
parking lot of the post office. Jackson is a very large cat, he weighs
about 20 pounds.
Although Jackson is very big he has the mannerisms of a kitten. He loves
to suck on the end of my nose or lick my fingers. He also loves to be
petted, but don't pick him up unless he says it's ok. He likes to have
all the control.
I knew that Jackson was something special when my husband couldn't leave
the humane shelter without him. You see, my husband is not a "cat
person" at all. As a matter of fact, I had begged for a cat and had
never been able to convince him before Jackson. There is just something
about Jackson that pulls at your heart strings.
We love Jackson and are glad that he is a part of our family now and forever.
