Hello,
my name is Dufas. Now don't laugh! When I was a kitten, I used
to do crazy things - like rumple up my human's throw rugs because I
thought there was something hiding under the rug, or run around the
house as if someone was trying to catch me. My humans would always say
"What a Dufas!" So that's how I got my name.
I'm ten years old and found my humans when they picked "me" out of my
littermates because I'm all white. Sometimes all white cats are deaf,
but not me - my ears perk up at the faintest of sounds. I'm a very
contented cat; however, I have one fault. I love to eat, and it shows.
I weigh 20 pounds and my humans have been trying to help me lose weight
for years to no avail. Well, at least I haven't gained any more weight!
I only eat 1/2 cup a day of my vet's prescribed diet, but can't seem to
slim down. Maybe it's in my genes. Even though I'm a big girl, my humans
still love me - flab and all, and I'm told I have a beautiful face!
