Belle
is one of five cats we have. She is a mixed breed, but may be part
British Shorthair or Russian Blue. She gets along with every single one
of them, but especially with her brother, Junior. My husband and I went
to a cat adoption fair just to look, but Belle was so adorable we had to
bring her home, even though we already had three cats. When we saw how
attached Belle and her brother were, and how they were so playful and
cute together, we decided we couldn't split them up so we adopted both
of them. We're not even sure they are related, but they certainly act
like it. Belle is definitely a "daddy's girl" and loves when my husband
plays with her. One of her favorite toys is a red washcloth that she
stalks and attacks. Belle got her name because she likes to pull herself
around on her belly like a snake.
Belle is a real party animal - wherever the action is, she's there. She
loves to hang from the cat tower by her front paws and attack cat toys
or play with an old red washcloth especially if you move a cat toy
underneath it. Belle loves to chase stuff and run down the hallway at
full speed. Belle thinks she's a person. She likes to "help" us around
the house, but she hates when we load the dishwasher. She'll sit up on
her hind legs in front of the dishwasher like a dog that's begging and
she'll meow until we stop loading the dishwasher. She likes to sit
outside the shower and be petted as soon as you get out of the shower.
She's so fascinated by water. Once she even fell into the toilet. After
that, we always kept the lids closed. Belle is very outgoing and
affectionate and drools when you pet her. She gets along with everyone.
Even though she's half his size, she'll go right up to Mister Kitty,
our biggest cat and give him a big kiss on the cheek. If Belle was a
person, she'd probably be the most popular girl in school. She's truly
the "belle" of the ball.
