This
is Clyde. He was born in Studio City, CA on April 6, 1996, and now
lives with my mother and father in Bryan, Texas. He happens to have the
same birthday as I do, though I was born in 1969. Clyde rolls over
whenever you ask him to, opens cupboard doors during the night, and can
even get himself out of locked places. For example, when he first moved
down to Texas, my parents would put him and our other cat in the kitchen
at bedtime. My father had to install a locking latch on the swinging
door because they'd wake up in the middle of the night and find him in
their bed. But, the locking latch still didn't help, as he'd work on
jiggling the door for hours until it would open. So, now he sleeps with
them regularly. For that reason, we nicknamed him "Houdini" (among other
nicknames). Clyde weighs 16 pounds, but is not fat, and is our pride and joy.
