This
is Hector, our cream tabby Scottish Fold. He is very placid and
calm. He doesn't meow, he sort of has this cute squeak saved only for
special occasions. He has a lovely personality and is a joy to have
around. Nothing seems to be a problem for him - a real cruiser!
We recently added a kitten to our pet collection and he just took it
over, washing, playing, guarding - the whole parental issue. We're very
proud of him and love him dearly.
Hector is just croooozy! He's quite shy and doesn't particularly like
strangers, but will tolerate them. He's thoughtful and quite intense
looking. Makes me wonder what's going on in there. He's very gentle
and when playing with us and won't use claws, as if he's conscious about
hurting us. I think of him as a baby who needs protecting.
He's not particularly agile but has in the past attempted to master
small tree climbing activities which have unfortunately resulted in him
falling out and embarrassing himself (the only time I've really seen him
look angry, although it's hard to tell sometimes with those ears). By
the way, his pedigree name is Ears A Touch Of Class.
He loves people being around even though he doesn't always want to be
caressed or stroked.
To sum it up, thoughtful, gentle, soft, loveable, caring, sensitive and
totally gorgeous. Perhaps even the cat equivalent of a SNAG (Sensitive
New Age Guy).
