Cio
Cio San is a very special young lady. She was
adopted from an Animal Shelter and immediately settled into her new home
with her brother Chaz and sister CeCe. She is a tiny girl, all of six
pounds fully grown, but she is undoubtedly the best sister/mom any cat
could have. Cio Cio takes it upon herself to groom her siblings
regularly, and never forgets to include her human "mom." She is an
incredibly polite cat with impeccable manners.
Cio Cio San welcomed a fourth kitty to the feline family with all of her
motherly warmth and kindness. Little "Coda" was adopted at two months of
age, and Cio Cio immediately started looking after him as if he were her
own kitten. She was the gentlest mom and because Coda hadn't been weaned
for very long before being adopted, he began to snuggle in and nurse on
his new mom. Cio Cio had nothing to offer in terms of milk, but never
turned Coda away. He found comfort in snuggling close with Cio Cio and
she took great pleasure in grooming him from head to toe and wrapping
herself around him when they slept to keep him cozy and comfy.
Miss Cio Cio is the only one of her feline siblings to come and say
goodnight each evening. She hops up on the bed, snuggles in under her
human mom's neck, purrs and chatters for a bit and then quietly goes to
sleep in her own bed after her mom has fallen asleep. She's a very sweet
little girl!
