Before
I could get a cat I had to first get straight A's for two years.
Finally my parents gave in! Then my mom had to have a none-shedding pet
and she didn't like cats! But there was no other choice, Russian Blues
don't shed much and cats are less work than dogs. So we came home with
Anastasia.
Annya is a very playful and cuddly cat. She loves to play fetch and tag.
She never drinks water from her water bowl. She loves to drink out of
either our fish bowl, or she'll run ahead of you to the shower asking
you to please turn on the tap so she can take a sip. Russian Blues are
known for being very quiet but Annya is very verbal. She has nine
different meows depending on her mood or situation. She follows my mom
all around the house and can get her way because my mom cant take her
whining, and when my mother gets mad at my whining Annya defends me!
Annya is very smart. She can follow commands (sit, shake, stand and
reach) but only for treats, otherwise she has a mind of her own! When my
mom does the laundry she makes it a point to sit on all the clean
towels! Sometimes I'm jealous of her because she stole all my pet
nicknames from my parents! When my dad gets home he asks where is his
little girl. I never know if he means me or Annya! I was an only child
until she came along! But we love her more than we ever thought we could
love a pet. And Annya is more than just a pet. She is part of the
family! (PS: There will be a custody battle when I go to college!)
