This
pretty little kitty is Bernice. I'm not sure what breed she is,
Siamese? Birman? Mix of some kind? I understand that cats born with
odd-colored eyes are usually deaf. Bernice was tested by the vet that I
got her from and fortunately, she hears quite well.
Someone had thrown her and her litter sister into a ditch when they were
very little, thankfully, they were rescued and I brought "Miss Bernice
the Princess" home to live with us when she was only six weeks old.
Bernice was a little scraggly when she first came to live with us but,
as you can see, she is thriving now! She spends her days roughin' up hair
ties and sneaking up on Baxter, her German Shepherd stepbrother, and
play attacking him.
