my name is Pichu! My sister
Machu
was Cat of the Day on October 16, 2000 and I thought it was only fair
that I get a chance! We were adopted as stray kittens when we were about
three months old. We were very afraid of people at first, but now we
love our owners and we are very happy.
I am a very affectionate kitty, and there's nothing I love better than
to be patted! I have a nice loud purr that everyone seems to enjoy
hearing. I love to eat, and I especially love my treats! I will come
running from wherever I am when I hear the sound of the treats bag. I
also enjoy running around in the back yard, chasing insects and birds. I
occasionally bring my captures in for my owners to take a look at, but
they never seem to appreciate the hard work I go to for them! And of
course, as any kitty will tell you, I enjoy napping.
I love my sister Machu, but we do like to have a good fight every now
and then. And if any other kitty tries to get into my back yard, I fight
them off! I don't like strangers coming into my territory. I even like
to fight with the next door neighbor's dog (through the fence of
course!). I am very happy that I was adopted and have a nice home to
live in with my sister. I wish the same for all kitties out there!
