Amber
came to me very unexpectedly. Someone found him abandoned when we
speculate he was ten weeks old. (Yes. A male cat named Amber!) I agreed
to take him in with the condition that my 2 1/2-year-old cat had to accept
this new addition. After an adjustment period, Amber and my older cat,
Patches, are now buddies. I'm so glad that this unexpected addition has
became part of my life. Amber is one of the friendliest cats I've ever
had. He thrives on affection. The more love Amber receives, the more he
gives in return. He loves to cuddle with me or with anyone who picks him
up. Amber has a loud purr and starts purring if I just talk to him.
Amber is also very mischievous and curious so he gets into all kind of
trouble! He pounces on anything that moves and is into everything. He
loves playing "hide and seek" with Patches. When Amber has done
something mischievous, he knows to put on the "I'm so cute" look while
crooking his head causing me to laugh and love him all the more.
