Hello.
My name is Isis. Most folks think I was named for the Egyptian
goddess but actually I was named for a solid black female cat that
showed up on one of the original Star Trek episodes. At 22 years old I'm
almost old enough to remember the original series - well, the first set
of re-runs anyway... This picture was taken when I was about 20 years
old and I've gotten a bit more grey, but not too much. I'm still doing
quite well, thank you very much, but old age is creeping up on me. I'm
actually older than the Vet technician that helps my person take care of
me. I still rule the roost, being alpha cat in a household of five other
cats - mostly Siamese. I have a very nice wooden box with a nice thick
blanket and a very warm heat lamp over the top where I spend most of my
time unless I am in my person's lap - which is my favorite place.
