I
found Tenga on the street in Cyprus where my family lived for a while.
She was about four weeks old and was probably abandoned by her mother, I
suspect it's because she's a big eater and was probably the most dominant
of the litter. This picture was taken a couple of days after I found
her. Since she wasn't completely weaned, we fed her "chicken mush" from a
bottle for a few weeks and the act she used to put on pretending she was
dying of starvation when she was far from it is evident in this picture!
I took her home in my bag and presented her to my mom (we already had
three other cats). She said we could keep her for a few days which turned
into a few weeks which turned into forever!
Tenga can fetch just like a dog and is now living the life in Nova Scotia
where she enjoys the company of two Maine Coons and tries desperately to
get on the good side of our sixteen-year-old calico.
