This
is Cocoa. He was born in Covina, California. He and his "brother"
Bo (also nearly eleven years old from San Pedro) have lived in the outer Los
Angeles area with me for all eleven years. We can only guess what breeds
contributed to his awesome appearance. I was immediately taken with his
blue eyes and exotic markings around them! Bo has awesome blue eyes as
well! When Cocoa was little, he would jump up and keep me company by
hanging out on the seating bench around the edge of my spa. I would ask
him to come over to me, and he did not want to get wet, so he would come
close and bump his forehead into mine, (as it was dry, and my hands were
wet). I started requesting this affection frequently and referring to
it as a "nuzzle". To this day, if I ask for a nuzzle, and he is in the
room, he comes right to me and nuzzles his forehead to anywhere on my
face he can reach!!!! He is my little love!!!! He has even been known
to respond to family and friends who ask for a "nuzzle"!
