How
I managed to get this photo still amazes me. Usually she's off as
soon as the camera comes out. Meow is eleven years old and I've had her
since she was six weeks old. She is the most special little creature.
She doesn't meow, hence the name, but makes the cutest little
pllllllrrrr noise when I get home from work. I don't have a choice but
to pick her up and carry her around on my shoulder, with her head tucked
into my neck, whilst I do my "after work" routine. She waits for me by
the door and I'm sure she thinks she's a dog at times. I have never come
across a cat that is as affectionate and loving as her. She always makes
herself at home on guests rather than me which is very sweet and of
course, wins them over immediately. She loves being petted but go
anywhere near the baggy, saggy tummy and you will feel the "Wrath of
Meow!" Many a time I have ended up with a fur ball on the end of my
hand.
She was diagnosed with kidney disease two years ago but hasn't looked
back. She's still as healthy and as feisty (at times) as she's always
been. I love her to death and she is totally spoilt. In return her
unconditional love is all I need. She never fails to make me smile or
giggle about some antic she's been up to.
