Neo
is a "apple head" or traditional seal point Siamese. He was born
June 22, 2000 which makes him now two years old. Neo is special to me
because he is my first cat. I am sixteen years old and I've wanted a
cat my whole life, but was only able to get one after my brother who
is allergenic left home and I was able to convince my parents to let
me get a cat.
Originally I hadn't planned to get a Siamese, but I had no choice in
the matter. Neo chose me. As soon as I saw him in the pet store and
watched him beating up a cat three times his size I had to take him home.
He is very playful, loves to talk to everyone, and will eat anything.
By everything I mean chocolate, macaroni, tomato sauce, etc. Neo loves
to cuddle up and sleep with whoever's resting, and loves to play hide
and go seek tag.
The name Neo was been said by everyone to be very strange, but it was
picked because it has a meaning behind it. Neo comes from the movie
The Matrix, in which the main character is named Neo. Neo means the
chosen one, so my brothers thought it would be funny if I named my cat
the chosen one because he is the cat that I finally got to chose.
What makes Neo special to me is everything about him. Whenever I see
him I can't help but smile. Every day after school I can't wait to see
him, and I usually see him right away because he goes in the car with
my mom to pick me up because he loves to go out.
