We
found Dilly Bar via an advertisement in a local paper. She was an
abandoned one and a half year old that the local shelter took in. She
was not the prettiest cat, but she is very sleek, affectionate and tiny,
she weighs just seven and a half pounds. At first I wasn't crazy about
her, but now I wouldn't trade her for any cat.
Dilly is a momma's girl. She snuggles in with me on cold winter nights.
This cat is a real baby. She won't drink out of her water dish, she
always requests to drink out of the tub spigot. Whenever I have a bowl
of cereal, Dilly waits patiently for a spoon of milk.
Dilly is also a champion mouser. She has earned her keep by catching
several real live mice in the house. One night she was so proud of
herself that she brought one up on the bed in the middle of the night to
show me. Dilly is a very special cat.
