Josie
is truly a most wonderful cat. Josie came into our family, along
with her two brothers, Thirteen years ago when she was a kitten. I was
eleven at the time. Josie has outlasted her two brothers, and even
laid with her brother Jonathan when he passed away one night.
I got Josie back from my parents when they split up, under the
assumption that she would return to my step-father, but we won't have
any of that. Josie has become part of the family and we have the okay
to keep her, which makes us happy and her very happy.
Josie shares our dwelling with Toby, an American Shorthair, who loves
to torment her, and keep her on her toes. Since the addition of our
four-month-old son, Josie has become quite attached to him. She loves
to lay near him and mommy whenever possible, and will lick the baby's
head if we let her. Josie has no problem with our son touching her,
and never makes any aggressive moves towards him. She is always
wanting to cuddle with who ever will accept her. Josie has definitely
become a wonderful companion, and we hope she will continue to be for
many years to come.
