My
pedigree name is Rexivel Black Prince, and this is why my
mummy called me Paris (after Paris, the Prince of Troy). When I
was only fourteen weeks old she found although I'd had my jabs (ouchy) I
got cat flu. I was tiny but brave, and I got over it. Then at 20
weeks old I suddenly didn't feel well. I could only just lift up
my head 'cos I was so weak and looked like a beany baby. When mum
took me to see the vet she got a great big scare - they said
"there's nothing we can do for Paris, we'll have to put him
down". I didn't even know what was going on and I thought they
meant put me down on the floor! Then the vet said before that we
will contact the Professor from the Royal Veterinary College.
The Professor said "Although rare in a cat - do some checks
for hypothyroidism and put him on Soloxene." After a few hours I
stood up all by myself! and I keep trying hard to get better
every day. I love eating, playing with my rolled up silver paper
(even though they spend lots of money on toys, hee hee). I'm
ever so naughty, too but I never ever get told off. See I'm cool
and they didn't put me down on the floor after all. This is me
warming myself under the lamp way above the floor.
