Sunshine
is a twelve-year-old Persian/Siamese
princess that lives in Palo Alto, CA with two women that simply adore her.
The name "Sunshine" was chosen because she loves the sun
light. She will sleep in it, roll in it, gaze into it, bathe in
it, and play with an imaginary toy for hours in it. So, the name
Sunshine it was.
To physically describe her, she has the most beautiful, big, blue
eyes. Once you look at her, you are sure to fall in love! Her
coat is soft and snuggly, one that makes any human think twice
about trading skin for fur any day!! I would say that she is a
little "fleshy", so her little belly jingles back and forth when
she travel's through her "castle". She wears a little
tinker-bell (that's blue to match her eyes) so we can hear her
coming. Sunshine always makes an entrance. She knows she is the
Queen of the house.
Sunshine walks around with an elegant grace, coming up to only
those she feels comfortable with. She really doesn't care what
you want when it comes down to it. She will walk past you,
looking at you with those big blue eyes, waiting for you to
appeal to her. If you do and are calm about giving her
attention, you will be loved and you will remember her forever.
If not, she will just keep her distance and walk around with an
attitude.. (She is great for sifting out the garbage dates.. If
they pass the Sunshine test, they get a brownie point). I
completely trust her judgment.
Overall, Sunshine is a cuddle bug and senses when you need her.
That is her best trait. She has a truly unique heart and it's
clear to anyone that gets to know her. Come on, why wouldn't I
nominate my Sunshine? She is the best Kitty Friend ever!
