This
is Reece (named after a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup). She had a
rough start in life. She was the only survivor of a litter of kittens
to a very young barn cat. Apparently her oxygen supply was cut short
during birth leaving her with a few less marbles than other cats!
She has quite the learning curve but we love her anyway! It was a
tough first year but she made it through and mellowed out quite a bit!
Now she is our loving cat who adopted the nickname of "baby kitty".
She is an indoor cat (she doesn't come when you call, nor does she
have the smarts to find her way home) and loves her "bugs" (little
stuffed bugs made out of yarn). Here she is in this picture, showing
us who is boss around the house! She's camera shy and doesn't like
posing for pictures. Her favorite thing to play is "hide the mouse".
She has a stuffed toy mouse that my husband hides on her everyday on
the first floor of our house. Although she will never allow us to see
her carrying this mouse, she secretly takes it back upstairs and
places it in our bedroom for the next day's adventure! She is a great
kitty!
