Just
over four years ago, whilst repairing a friend's car, I was asked
if I would like a cat. Having two cats at the time, my first answer
was no, but when I heard the story of Bam-Bam, and how he had fallen
out of a tower block window and broke his jaw, I went home and asked
my wife if she would like another cat. Luckily for Bam-Bam she agreed.
We fell in love with Bam-Bam at first sight cause he had one blue eye
and on green eye, and he was nearly pure white apart from a couple of
tabby patches and tabby ears.
Well, we decided to take him home, cause he had a lovely nature. We
had only had Bam-Bam for three weeks, he came in the cat flap one
night dragging his leg behind him with blood dripping out of it, I, my
wife and his cat brothers (Jasper and Barnie) were very worried about
him, it was about midnight when he came in, poor old Bam-Bam had been
run over! We took him to the vet immediately and Mr. Moffet the vet
took an instant liking to him and I think Bam-Bam did to. Well, he was
all fixed up and sorted out, though it took a few weeks to get him
back to his normal self, it was quite amusing watching him chase
Barnie around with his different colour bandages.
His personality is adorable and he is so homely, he often talks to us
in a cat sort of way and he thinks our four poster bed belongs to him
as he spends most of his time on it, when he is not dashing about the
house like a lunatic!! About eight months ago we notice he had a tooth
hanging out of his mouth, we took him to the vets were they removed
the tooth, but they found out that poor Bam-Bam had a heart murmur,
fortunately at the moment thing are on an even keel, but when he gets
older he will have to take tablets for his condition. Until then
Bam-Bam enjoys life by dashing about the house when he hears his cat
biscuits are put in his bowl. As you can see from his photo he is very
beautiful, and we call him our chocolate box cat cause we think he
should be cat model like the ones he likes to watch in the TV ads. His
favorite game is to chase tin foil rolled up in a ball.
