Li'l
Bit, is a Friends of Animals rescuee. We didn't choose her; She
picked us. We couldn't say no. We unpacked our "black Spruce",
a skinny artificial Christmas tree with a real-wood trunk. Our little
six month old indoor kitten, Li'l Bit, took one look at that and said
"for me??? how nice!" She promptly set to work using the trunk
as a scratching post. Then her ambitions got larger... Before we knew it
she had climbed up to the top of the tree. I'm so glad I had the camera
in my hand - we were laughing so hard. Having conquered that portion of
space-time she decided that she's "been there, done that" and
has not tried it again. She has been a real joy to have in our home; and
has kept her two "we-were-here-first" Elder Cats very much
alive.
